Frequently Asked Questions

Below are answers to some of the most common questions we hear about grooming, daycare, day boarding, and training. If you still need help, just give us a call — we’re happy to chat about your dog’s needs.

How often should my dog be groomed?

Most dogs do best with grooming every 4 to 8 weeks, depending on coat type and lifestyle. Regular grooming keeps their coat clean, prevents mats, and helps spot skin or ear issues early.

Do I need an appointment for grooming?

Yes, grooming is by appointment only so each dog can receive one-on-one attention from start to finish. We never stack appointments or keep dogs waiting in crates for hours. The only walk-in service we offer is nail trims.

What vaccinations are required for daycare or day boarding?

All dogs must be up to date on rabies, distemper/parvo, and Bordetella. We may ask for proof of vaccination before your dog’s first visit.

What’s the difference between daycare and day boarding?

Daycare is for social, playful dogs who enjoy group time and activities. Day boarding is a quiet, individual stay for dogs who prefer rest and one-on-one care.
